AGE VERIFIATION REQUIRED

Due to Federal alcohol laws, all orders must be placed and received by persons who are 21 years old or older, and age verification will be required upon receipt of your wine. No wine will be delivered to visibly intoxicated persons. Any person unable to provide age verification will forfeit their right to receive the shipment until identification is produced. In such circumstances, the order may either be held in storage at a local depot of the shipping company until appropriate identification is produced, or shipped back to the winery. For these reasons, we suggest shipping to a business address. Returned shipments will be charged return and reshipment fees.

SHIPPING TIMELINE

Orders take up to 2 business days to be processed. If you require a specific shipping date, please add that to your order notes or simply hit reply to your order confirmation. We ship via UPS and FedEx depending on the zip code. All carriers and services may vary by state, time of year and weather conditions. We highly encourage guest to check their tracking numbers for the most up to date timeline. 
Transit times once shipped:
* West Coast: 1-3 Days
* Mid: 3-6 Days
* East Coast: 6-7 Days

*Please note, weather and holidays can effect transit times. 

SHIPPING COSTS

Shipping costs vary based on zip codes and states. All shipping costs will appear in the shopping cart before you complete your transaction. 

DIRECT SHIPPING LICENSES

Due to the restrictions of many state laws, we only ship wine to those states where direct shipment is permitted by law.
* Currently we ship to AL,,AK, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, HI, ID, IA, MA, ME, MD, MN, MO, NC, NE, NM, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, VT, WA, WY.
* New Mexico Shipments: NM law only allows for wine to be shipped via FedEx.
* Alabama Shipments: AL law requires all wine shipments to be delivered to an ABC store. 
* NO Ship States: IL, MI, MS, ND, NH, UT, VA, WI
* Please note that AK and HI can only be shipped 1 Day or 2 Day Air. Ground shipping is not available.
* Shipping destinations for alcohol are subject to change without prior notice due to individual state laws and regulations. We reserve the right to modify eligible ship-to states at any time to comply with current legal requirements.

* Some states may imposes limitations on the amount of wine any particular resident may receive by direct shipment. Certain states also have dry areas to which alcohol cannot be shipped, so there are certain zip codes that we cannot ship to.

SALE TAX ON SHIPPING ORDERS

All shipping orders will be charged the applicable sales tax based on the ship to zip code, if assessed by the laws the of particular delivery state for any shipment that Starfield Vineyards sends. Due to national laws alcohol shipping laws, the sales tax will be charged by the zip code within each state.

WEATHER HOLDS

In an effort ensure your wine arrives safely and to not risk any damage to the quality of the wine, we monitor weather throughout the country on a daily basis and do not ship during times of extreme temperatures (both hot and cold). This may result in a delay in receiving your wines. We will suspend ground shipping when your day time highs are above 85℉ or if you night time lows are below 32℉. Overnight and 2 Day Air options will vary based on location. Any wine shipped against our recommendation will not be replaced if weather damage occurs.

DELIVERY FAILURES

If an order is placed with incorrect order information provided by the sender or the receiver is not present to sign for the package, the sender is responsible for all associated fees and will be billed accordingly by Starfield Vineyards. Mis-shipments include: delivery to the wrong address, delivery intercepts, and orders returned to the winery. 
* All shipping companies attempt to deliver packages three times. If after the 3rd attempt no one of 21+ years of age has been present to sign for the package, it is automatically returned to Starfield Vineyards per the shipping companies polices. Applicable reshipment fees will be applied to the purchaser's card prior to reshipping. 
* It is the responsibility of all Starfield Vineyard wine club members and guests to maintain accurate information prior to an order leaving our facility. To update your information, please login to your account via our website or call us directly at 530-748-3085 ext. 2.
Pro Tip: Ship to a UPS or FedEx hub near you! They will hold your package for 3-5 days so that you may pick it up, rather than having to stay home to sign for it.
